This beautiful 1966 Mustang Coupe has had 2 UK owners since arriving here in December 2017 and has covered just over 39,000 miles. It has had extensive upgrades from its factory spec bringing a new lease of vitality and vigour into this legendary vehicle.
Let’s talk performance…. Gone is the 289cu lump in favour of a 302cu crate engine bringing more horses to the party, as well as upgraded Sniper 1 electronic fuel injection and ignition, 3 speed auto gearbox and upgraded power steering. Improved stopping power is handled via front disc brakes with slotted rotors.
Exterior enhancements including Bullet Wing Mirrors and 15” American Racing Torque Thrust Alloys, which pair amazingly well with the Olive Gold coachwork and bright chrome-work. The upgrades continue inside the cabin by ditching the factory fitted vinyl upholstery and replacing with beautifully custom crafted, soft dark green leather with exterior colour matched piping appointments. Audio is brought to you via Custom Auto Sound with a modern DAB radio unit that keeps the period correct stereo facias and controls, This is all finished off nicely with the sleek optional centre console.
